5'8" tall, Miss India 2003, Nikita Anand was brought up in Delhi. She was born in Jalandhar and her father Colonel S S Anand, was a doctor in the army. As her father transferred to different cities, she had to change her school many times. She studied in St. Mary’s, Pune; Bishop Cottons, Ranchi; Cathedral, Mumbai; and NIFT, Delhi. According to her big brother Jasneet, she secured 92% marks in her 10th class.

She aspires to be a fashion designer apart from modelling. Nikita is not sure whether she wants to join Bollywood. She likes to read fiction novels in her leisure time.
